This position will be hands on as care employees are added as needed during site opening.

RN Director of Health Services (DHS) responsibilities:

Complete initial assessment of potential residents.

Knowledge of personnel administration and federal and state regulations.

Assist in establishing the policies pertaining to total resident care, personnel, medical staff.

Explain policies and procedures to staff, residents, visitor, etc.

Review policies and procedures periodically and make changes as necessary.

Keep current on all laws pertaining to the facility operation.

Participate in all QA studies. Accumulate data and provide written evaluation of QA results.

Minimum Education / Experience requirements

Has authority to act for the director in personnel and management team matters in the director’s absence.

Economic Services (Medicaid, Food & Nutrition Assistance Program)

Adult, Aging and Transportation Services

Providing leadership and direction for division assigned services and program areas to ensure quality and timely services.
