Oversees and directs budgeting, audit, accounting, and forecasting activities for the organization.
Directs the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, and governmental agency reports.
Ensures compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.

Overview The Assistant Corporate Controller is responsible for providing financial and accounting support to the Corporate Controller and other senior management. This individual will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial statements, as well as providing financial analysis and guidance to the organization. The Assistant Corporate Controller will be responsible for the following:

• Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Assisting in the preparation of the company’s annual budget and forecasts.
• Analyzing financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement.
• Developing and implementing internal controls and procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Assisting in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with external auditors, bankers, and other financial institutions.
• Assisting in the development of financial strategies and plans.
• Providing financial analysis and guidance to senior management.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial presentations for board meetings.
Job Skills Required

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Job Qualifications
