Editing, enforcing article guidelines, and reviewing the work of authors

Working with the E-I-C and Editorial team to advance the overall mission of the site(s)

Write, edit and manage a broad range of print and digital communications materials.

5 years of professional writing experience

Experience writing a variety of high-quality materials based on audience and distribution channel

Experience supporting large, complex federal agencies, ideally the Department of Veterans Affairs

Knowledge of military and Veteran populations

Strong critical thinking and analytical skills

University degree (or higher if specifically required) or relevant technical training/qualification;

Excellent knowledge (mother tongue) of the FAO language of the manuscripts to be copy-edited;

2 years of experience in the related field(s);

Knowledge Sharing and Continuous Improvement

Checking internal consistency of the text, data, figures (including maps), tables and boxes;

1+ years experience working with Qvidian software, equivalent proposal software (Loopio, Proposify, etc.), or other content / knowledge management systems preferred

Project Management: proven problem solving and systematic ability to effectively and efficiently create and manage plans of action.

Understanding software systems and processes (especially content management systems)

Experience with the K-12 education industry preferred

Experience with the education technology industry preferred

From different company styles and also internal Bids and Proposals styles, collect and manage a style guide for the team

A knowledgeable, high-achieving, experienced and fun team.

Engage readers with informative, entertaining, and educational copy

2+ years of copy editing experience preferred

Must have experience with luxury brands and HNWI audience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language

Thorough knowledge of written media production and communication
