Assistant Coach Football Jobs in Oregon

Knowledge and experience with NCAA compliance rules and regulations.

Experience working in a collegiate or professional football program.

Knowledge of recruitment process for Division I football student-athletes.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Power 5 Football Conference experience.

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Assesses the athletic team skills and abilities and the opponents capabilities and determines game strategies.

Principles, goals, and objectives of public education;

Analyze and assess interscholastic sports program needs, and offer recommendations pertaining to program activity revisions, additions, or deletions;

Experience differentiating practices for diverse populations.

Plans, organizes, coordinates, and participates in the school site interscholastic sports program.

Strong knowledge of all aspects of the sport.

Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to motivate and relate in a positive manner to students, staff, and the community.

Good planning, organization and administrative skills.

Willingness to spend afternoon and evening time in team activities

Work under the direction and supervision of the head coach and athletic director

Assist the head coach with practice and games.
