Assistant Building Engineer Jobs

Partner with management to develop specifications for contracted services

Ensure noted items on inspection checklists which require additional follow up are resolved and/or communicated to the Property Manager

Provide feedback to Property Manager regarding needed repairs, special services, etc.

Perform other job duties or projects as requested or required

5+ years’ experience in commercial building maintenance or related field

5+ years’ experience operating relevant computer hardware/software (e.g. HVAC, security, MS Office, Work order system, smart phones, etc.)

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, related field, or equivalent work experience.

Internship experience performing the similar primary responsibilities listed, desired.

Manage all documentation related to construction project

Adhere to OSHA and Company safety requirements.

Assist the Project Manager in monitoring EVM and production rates

Coordinate work and correspondence between all project team members

Undertakes training related to job duties as deemed necessary by the University.

Performs related job duties as may be assigned.

Demonstrated ability to access computer programs and use or learn basic computer operations related to position requirements.

Must undertake OSHA Outreach 10-hour General Industry Training Course and other training related to job duties within 6 months of hire.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Cleans coils and condensers, lubricates equipment, maintains air filters and performs minor repair work as assigned.
