Oversee tenant and vendor certificate of insurance management and tracking for entire portfolio

Bachelor’s degree (mathematical, science, business, economics, finance degree preferred).

1-3+ years of real estate or any type of financial analysis experience is preferred (internships included).

Must be highly skilled in excel and data analytics.

Documented knowledge of financial cash flow modeling and analysis using Microsoft Excel.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience generating, maintaining and monitoring budgets for all assets under management.

Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related solar/renewable energy role

Liaise with O&M (Operations and Maintenance) group on an on-going basis to ensure compliance with service contracts and project requirements.

Own the P&L and manage accounting support group to ensure proper books and records of operating assets.

Experience in technical system design interpretation.

As the Asset Manager, you will:

5+ years Real Estate Multifamily Asset Management experience required.

Experience with Multifamily Lease-up properties required

BS/BA required in Finance, Business, Economics or Accounting preferred

Knowledge of commercial real estate fundamentals, investments and market analysis

Superior analytical, written and verbal communication skills required

Knowledge of Yardi software preferred

4+ years of experience in a quantitative or finance field; real estate asset management experience is strongly preferred

The Asset Management Associate’s primary job responsibilities will include:

Preparing institutional-quality reports and presentations for distribution to senior management, equity partners, and lenders

The Asset Management Associate will also assist the team by:

Demonstrated experience in financial modeling and spreadsheet analysis

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge of project planning, to include estimation of tasks and time requirements.

Mid-management/Professional grade, and management personnel may receive 40 hours of admin leave per calendar year.

Proficiency with SQL, T-SQL, and XML.

Perform data analysis to produce key performance indicators.

Perform ad hoc queries to ensure data integrity.

The ability to develop reports using SSRS reporting services or similar.

Negotiate contracts, including property management agreements and retail leases.

Work constructively with other internal teams including Portfolio Management, Facilities Management, Group Development Management and Legal to accomplish your portfolio goals.

Actively manage your own portfolio of assets while building a reputation of credibility and thought leadership within the team.

Manage relationships with fee managers, leasing brokers and other vendors.

Successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with solid quantitative, financial, and analytical skills

Strong knowledge of present value, NPV, IRR and DCF concepts and calculations as well as strong financial modeling ability

Strong leadership skills with extensive prior asset management experience and financial and competent real estate transaction knowledge and experience.

Prior construction and project management experience a plus along with financial concepts and methodologies.

10 - 12+ years of professional experience, with prior senior asset management experience with a real estate owner/operator.

Possesses a hands-on approach to all aspects of work, and has strong management, team building, and interpersonal skills.

Hands-on real estate operations, with detailed attention to proactive asset management and value creation.

A strong working knowledge of Argue, Excel modeling is a must, and Yardi knowledge being desirable.
