Art Direction Intern Jobs

Remains current on marketing, design, technology, user experience, and cultural trends, and infuses this knowledge into all design work

Basic skills/knowledge of key principles of typography and fonts

Strong attention to detail, organization, multitasking, and time-management

Prior experience/internships at PR, Advertising, Digital/Social Marketing, Creative agencies or relevant coursework

Experience working across a wide range of media including digital/social, print, event/experiential, brand identity systems, etc.

Strong skills in Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator, PowerPoint and Keynote

Skilled in Sketch and/or Figma.

Prior experience in design or related field preferred.

Collaborate creatively with the art direction team.

Assist in design production and project support.

Contribute fresh ideas and innovative concepts.

Proficiency in Sketch and/or Figma.

Assists more experienced team members

Working knowledge of design programs

Working Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

They will assist with the design and artistic direction of the advertising and projects that need a fresh perspective

The intern will work closely with others to assist in ensuring design integrity and alignment across all touchpoints

The designer must demonstrate attention to detail in design and craft and have a uniquely creative mind

Collaborate with Project Management, Production, Art Buying and Studio to achieve the best solutions for assignments

Some experience in Art Directing photo shoots.

Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)

Interest or experience in automotive a plus

Concept and design compelling product stories to be applied to print and digital mediums.

Art Directs photoshoots, film shoots, editing, and illustrations (automotive, lifestyle, as well as table top still-life)

Able to work in LA and be able to secure housing accommodations (Magnopus is not offering relocation assistance at this time)

Experience with Maya and/or Max

Experience working with Unity and/or Unreal Engine

A broad base of artistic and technical knowledge

Currently enrolled Undergraduate (Junior or Senior) and Graduate students

Available for approximately from June through September

Currently getting a bachelor’s Degree in a design related field or has extensive design experience

Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

Experienced in Figma, Sketch or other prototyping software

Is enthusiastic, insatiably curious, and is a ‘maker’ and ‘doer’.

Software: strong knowledge of standard graphic design software

Hardware: strong knowledge about computers, internal networks, VOIP systems, handheld devices

Experience managing multiple projects, priorities and deadlines

Take ownership of the work created in the department

Strategizing with Supervisor to meet or exceed quality expectations without compromising project margins

Understanding and estimating the length of projects and driving the design of art pipelines to meet deadlines

Are driven & understand that their skills & experience will create their success
