Possess a valid driver’s license with a minimum of five years driving experience.

Willing to sign a motor vehicle record release form and have less than six deficiency points on the motor vehicle record.

Have had no more than two at-fault accidents in the past three years.

Have a personal vehicle for participant transportation.

Hold personal automobile liability insurance with limits of $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident/$100,000 property damage.

Vehicle must be legally registered with up-to-date tags.

Experience with Transportation Management Systems like Mercury Gate, OTM, JDA, or others.

Use the Transportation Management System, WMS, and other Ferguson systems to complete daily route plans and ad hoc contingency plans.

Ability to create executive-level presentations and to communicate with senior management.

Partner with Accounting and Finance on freight invoice review, audit, and assist with variance analysis and reporting.

Manage carrier relationships, KPI’s, and compliance.

Monitor DOT compliance, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and industry requirements to ensure internal policies are adhered to.

Performs the duties of school bus drivers and office manager, when necessary.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
