Area Maintenance Tech Level I is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in a variety of areas. This includes but is not limited to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance.What is Area Maintenance Tech Level I Job Skills Required?
• Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Ability to follow safety protocols
• Ability to work in a variety of environments
What is Area Maintenance Tech Level I Job Qualifications?
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in maintenance and repair
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check
What is Area Maintenance Tech Level I Job Knowledge?
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Knowledge of safety protocols
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting
• Knowledge of proper use of hand and power tools
