Area Authorization Specialist Remote Il Jobs

Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by management.

Provide case management and counseling services to assigned patients.

Utilize intervention skills as required to place the patient in the appropriate level of treatment services.

Performing transportation, traffic, or systems engineering work in the development of traffic signal timing, signal systems management and operations

0-3 years of experience in transportation engineering, transportation planning, or related field.

Design plans and specifications, systems engineering analysis, reports, and budget estimates under the direction of senior engineering staff

Requires regular coordination with public agencies and other consultants

Local travel will be required

Engineers In Training (EIT) preferred.

Team management: utilize team members to fullest potential, encourage collaboration, mitigate conflict, foster positive communication, acknowledgement and appreciation

Prior 3 to 5+ years Door and / or Building Products Industry and or project management experience.

Effective project management: apply company methodology, enforce standards, minimize exposure to risk and ensure completion and accurate storage of finished projects

Manage any project changes, revisions, revised purchase orders and change order documents and make revisions in the software.

Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change; manage the process of innovative change effectively

Abilities to read blueprints and computer literacy are a must and savvy with Excel & QuickBooks are a HUGE Plus!

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements

Processes benefit verification or authorization for all new referrals with speed and accuracy.

Assist AVA Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.

Minimum of two years of experience in related experience.

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Education, training or experience as a medical coder, medical billing, Insurance Coordinator, or other relevant clinical background preferred

Associate degree or equivalent experience

Working knowledge of CPT and ICD coding

Demonstrated ability of critical thinking skills to efficiently organize work and maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity

Working knowledge and ability to navigate through the healthcare system (insurances, Medicare, Medicaid, physician office operations)

Strong customer service and problem-solving skills

Knowledge and experience with agricultural equipment or other off highway machinery

Strong communication skills with experience solving technical problems

Experience with software programming languages and/or ML familiarity

Experience in one or more related engineering areas: electrical, software programming, troubleshooting, design, quality, and manufacturing

Manufacturing Factory hands on experience

Strong organizational and planning skills

Good organizational and time management skills to effectively juggle multiple priorities and time constraints and ever-changing medical situations.

Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures at the level needed to perform responsibilities.

Proficient/knowledgeable in patient care procedures and organizational policies related to position responsibilities.

Contacts insurance companies via appropriate methods and obtains pre-certifications and authorizations.
