Apprentice Water Production Jobs

Perform various operations functions, such as materials movement, labeling and packaging, collecting, and removing broke/scrap materials,

Performing cleaning and housekeeping tasks throughout Mill area(s)

The Open Eligibility List will consist of external applicants who meet the minimum qualifications and successfully complete any required selection processes.

Collects grab samples at remote sites; performs various types of field water testing including chlorine residual; adjusts chemical dosage accordingly.

Separate Promotional and Open (external) Eligibility Lists will be established.

The hiring department will consider the Promotional Eligibility List prior to considering candidates on the Open Eligibility List.

Inspects, adjusts, and performs preventative maintenance on electrical and telemetry equipment at sites; checks connections and measures equipment output.

Support the development of prototype test capabilities for spacecraft component development and life tests

Identify test equipment requirements for planned tests, maintain test consumables inventory, and develop test procedures and processes accordingly

Manage schedule priorities and independently executing work to meet company deliverables

1+ years of hands on work experience

2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, integration or mechanical assembly experience

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Quality Walks-Checking Material-Making Material Returns

Valid Driver License with a good driving record

Part-time, Seasonal position, $16.00 per hr.

Hours could range from 7am-12:30pm, 8am-1:30pm, 2pm - 7:30pm, 3pm-8:30pm

Two years of progressively responsible engineering experience

Coordinate planning process for new projects

Act as Engineering advisor to Facility Operations and maintenance staff

Performs various other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor, or in his or her absence, the Operations Manager

Experience with start-up, shutdown, and safe operation of water production equipment

Have effective verbal and written skills to communicate in English with internal and external customers under normal and adverse conditions

Maintains production facilities and keeps records of all completed maintenance

Provides SCADA after-hours standby duty

Utilizes digital literacy to enter data, maintain records and prepare reports electronically

Must meet minimum safety requirements such as respirator certification, ability to work in confined spaces or elevated work areas, etc.
