Experience in the long term care setting preferred.

Any skills for which the student nurse apprentice has not been cleared by the nursing education program.

Education Applicants must meet qualifications to progress into the second semester of the associated Nursing Program at the time of application

Utilizes knowledge gained from participation in an associated nursing program to assist the Registered Nurse in the care of the patient.

May NOT perform the following skills:

Has met the minimum qualifications for application to the Nurse Apprenticeship Program as follows:

Completed employer interview process and human resources procedural requirements.
