Paid Tuition (State Registered Apprenticeship Program) – Must maintain a C average

Minimum two (2) years’ experience in general maintenance.

Basic knowledge of the standard tools, methods, practices and safety precautions involved in the particular function assigned.

High School/Vocational School Diploma or equivalency certificate and possess a valid New Jersey Driver’s License

Must be available for emergencies and job assignments on a 24-hour basis.

Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and representatives.

Must demonstrate the ability to learn and retain technical information.

Minimum Position Qualifications & Education Requirements:

Assist other skilled trade technicians in repairs as requested.

1 year experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance and satisfactory overall performance

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

Experience reading engineering drawings, manuals and schematics

Drive independently to stores on a daily basis as assigned.

Conducts preventive maintenance functions, inspections and repairs on equipment.

Visually inspects, tests, machinery, and

Dismantles machines and equipment to conduct service and

Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of

Maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment; repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related

Operates and cares for company tools and vehicles in a safe

They will work with Qualified Maintenance Mechanics to attain OJT and develop practical skills within a specified amount of time.

Successful completion of required coursework to develop required Maintenance skillsets

Able to attain basic Maintenance skills

Able to attain basic computer skills

The Maintenance Apprentice will work towards milestones set forth by Maintenance Leadership.

This will be the first step to grow as a Maintenance Mechanic towards higher levels within the progression path.

90 day hands-on training program

Perform job duties in a way that will adhere with Anchor’s Guiding Principles: Integrity, Continuous Improvement, Ownership, Teamwork, and Accountability.

Troubleshoot and repair of bottle manufacturing equipment.

Work on electrical systems up to 480 volts.

Run conduit and install new electrical circuits.

Thread and install new plumbing, i.e. black iron, galvanized and copper

Work with a wide variety of hand tools and power hand tools.
