Overview An Apprentice Commercial Electrician is a person who is in the process of learning the trade of commercial electrical work. They are typically employed by an electrical contractor and work under the supervision of a qualified electrician. The apprentice will learn the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified electrician. Detailed Job Description An Apprentice Commercial Electrician is responsible for assisting a qualified electrician in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings. They will be required to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams, install wiring, fixtures, and other electrical components, and test and troubleshoot electrical systems.
