Assists school teams with assessing the needs of students in terms of skill acquisition and behavior management programs.

Provides training on behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors in the classroom setting.

The basic provisions of the Individuals with disabilities education act (IDEA).

Creates classroom schedules with school staff to ensure adequate delivery of skill acquisition programs.

Implements Safety Care procedures to manage challenging and potentially dangerous behaviors.

Three years of full-time, paid professional experience working with students with behavior deficits.

BA will provide supervision to any assigned RBT's according to Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Standards.

Administer skills assessments and utilizes teaching/skill building curriculum (PEAK, VB-MAPP, Denver Model, ABLLS-R, etc.)

Provide Behavior Analytic Treatment service to assigned caseload working in home, school, and community settings.

Develop individualized behavior modification treatment plans and supervise the implementation of the plans; completing functional analysis when indicated.

Design and direct the implementation a behavioral intervention plan for the identified child.

Complete regularly occurring data reviews.

Monitors and develops training on behavior management strategies and assessments to address challenging behaviors in the classroom setting.

Develops systems of reinforcement and provides Behavior Skills Training.

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in education, applied behavioral sciences, psychology or other related fields.

Adult educational training principles, methods and techniques.

Ensures that best practices for behavior analysis are adhered to by the Applied Behavior Analysts and school teams.
