A Sales Associate contributes to driving sales through providing a genuine and unique experience to each customer.

Initiates genuine conversation to engage with the customer in a personalized way where all customers feel welcome, heard and valued

Supports a selling environment in all areas of the sales floor by connecting with multiple customers and sharing product suggestions

Mentors the team through training visual expectations, operational standards, and materials/tool management

Attends store meetings to share inspiration, new ideas, and pertinent information from Home Office and field leadership with the store team

High-level of craftsmanship with working knowledge of power tools

Demonstrates awareness of the impact that display and merchandising have on the overall store sales and profitability

Engages the customer through display work on the sales floor; drives community connection through display workshops, events, and gatherings when applicable

Contributes to a customer-first philosophy flexing schedule to the needs of the business and supporting zone coverage as needed
