Anthropologie Apparel Concept Designer Jobs

Knowledge of and experience with the creative design process and deliverables expectations.

Demonstrated understanding of how to create immersive guest experiences supported by practical experience developing three-dimensional spaces.

Solid design/illustration skills in multiple formats including character sketches, storyboards, color illustrations, POVs, presentation art, marketing materials, and aspirational pieces.

Experience producing illustrative work for presentations, marketing efforts, and design packages that facilitate the design/build efforts.

Bachelor’s degree or related field, or equivalent work experience required

Develop user experiences and/or processes that have firm-wide benefits and impact

5 to 7 years of ( UX, ID, etc) design experience applying user experience principles to visual and interaction design

Bachelor's degree in design (UX, ID, etc) or related work experience

2+ years of Design Thinking experience to lead large groups of collaborators through the design process preferred

Expert with rapid prototyping tools (i.e. InVision, Sketch, Figma)

Expert in Adobe Creative Suite

Leverage and identify applications for this knowledge and react with business initiatives involving product, design, merchandising and process.

Manage category inspiration packs for Design teams.

Manage Concept/Shop packs for Buying teams.

Manage the Concept sample organization.

5+ Years experience in Trend Forecasting, Concept Design or related field.

An extremely strong knowledge of trends and the ability to translate marketplace and trend trajectories for the Urban Outfitters customer.

Supervise the Assistant/Associate Designers and delegate responsibilities to support the workload

Expert knowledge of garment construction, knit and woven fabrics, trims, washes with the ability to mock and drape on dress forms.

Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to multitask in fast paced environment

Energetic team player with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with partners in Design, Buying, PD, and Production.

Must have at least 7 years of experience in knit top and/or soft woven design

Develop ideas to transform text-heavy presentations into graphically engaging, concise, and interactive experiences.

Help guiding the design process for concept and branding presentations as well as special projects.

Own the process of design from concept to completion, including adherence to brand guidelines.

Understand branding, layout, color theory and typography in both digital and print media

Must be comfortable moving quickly, managing multiple projects and expectations.

6+ years experience developing concepts for theme parks, museums, restaurants, or theatre.
