Concept Designer Jobs

Our Fortune 500 Financial Services client is seeking a REMOTE Concept Designer for a 6 month assignment starting in July 2023!

To be considered for this role, the following skills will NEED to be included and highlighted on your resume:

• Expert with rapid prototyping tools (i.e. InVision, Sketch, Figma)
• Confidently present design concepts, clearly articulate ideas, and participate in brainstorming sessions with leaders, developers, and stakeholders
• Partner with Business Stakeholders to guide teams through problem definition (e.g., leveraging business canvases) and the capabilities or disciplines needed to solve problems.
• Comfort designing in low, medium, and high-fidelity think strategically and able to design high fidelity product and service prototypes
• Have a high attention to detail and solve a range of design challenges, with guidance
• 5 to 7 years of ( UX, ID, etc) design experience applying user experience principles to visual and interaction design
• A portfolio of projects highlighting the design process for both web-based and mobile applications is essential to be considered for this role. (Examples of products, services and experiences that were brought to market.)
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite
• Understand relevant trends and business opportunities inside and outside the industry, and implications to firm efforts.
• Develop user experiences and/or processes that have firm-wide benefits and impact

Concept Designer Required Qualifications:

• Expert in visual design, with solid understanding of typography, layout, and color theory
• Bachelor's degree in design (UX, ID, etc) or related work experience
• 2+ years of Design Thinking experience to lead large groups of collaborators through the design process preferred

Concept Designer additional responsibilities include:

• Evangelize "Design excellence" within the organization,
• Effectively communicate in verbal and written venues to present strategic opportunities, aligned to firm strategy/goals/objectives, define business cases, and develop strategic roadmaps that clearly articulate the journey toward an ideal end-user experience and business outcomes.
• Partner with subject matter experts, business owners, and those skilled in multiple business process disciplines (e.g., Agile, Design Thinking, Lean Six Sigma, project management, product management, research) to define user and business capabilities needed to deliver new/improved experiences.
• Unlock key user insights and translate them into user objectives using prototyping and testing
• Sharing a deep appreciation for client, branch, and associate needs
