Recognize and connect patterns in how users experience technology across 1st and 3rd party technologies by composing bug reports when needed

Create educational STEM animations in Unity using our proprietary animation systems

Experience working with the Unity Editor

Understanding of the Unity timeline and animation system (no need for experience as an

Experience with source control (Git preferred)

• Possess strong visual and motion/animation design skills

• Collaborate with other designers, researchers, product managers, and developers from early product stages to implementation

• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite – priorities here include Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects

• Experience with Figma and prototyping tools to generate your designs and validate those designs with users/customers

• Digital product design experience

• Strong visual design skills

Manage and process storyboards using Flix. Also import layout, animation, and lighting shots.

3-5 years experience in animation editorial.

After Effects, Photoshop, ProTools experience a plus.

Make decisions regarding pacing, acting, dialogue, music and sound effects that resolve quality and delivery of the animated project.

Work on first assembly passes of new storyboard sequences during the animatic phase.

Work with directors, producers, and executives and ensure quality product from early production (animatic) through delivery of final animated version.

Strong ideation skills – hand sketching, mood boarding, brainstorming, etc.

3D design development skills – create accurate CAD models and clear renderings of new concepts

Presentation skills – build decks and update based on feedback

Experience developing or working with animation blend graphs, real-time IK, animation compression, and/or advanced animation memory management (streaming)

Robust programming skills/experience in C++

Deep knowledge of real-time animation systems.

Experience with one or more real-time animation middleware (e.g.: Havok Animation, Granny, Morpheme) or equivalent custom/in-house solutions

3+ years game industry software development experience

Strong technical knowledge of Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC

At least 2 years as an administrative assistant or similar experience

Location: This role is based out of the Burbank office. In-office / Hybrid / Remote; Hybrid Preferred

Previous experience supporting a high level executive preferred

Must have knowledge of file set-up, maintenance, filing procedures, basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage, report & letter formats

Strong interest in animation and general film knowledge preferred.

Tracks relevant information to ensure supervisor is aware of status (development reports, production reports, competitive projects, etc.)

Composes memos and correspondence for supervisor’s review and signature
