Anchor Sports Jobs in Ohio

At least 6-years on-camera experience.

Videography and non-linear editing experience preferred.

Knowledge of broadcast quality camera equipment.

Strong broadcast and AP-style writing skills.

Receive assignments or evaluate news leads and news tips to develop story ideas.

Gather and verify factual information regarding stories through interview, observation, and research.

Experience with web content management systems

5-7 years reporting and anchoring

Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism or similar field

Other duties as required by management

Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts

Minimum 3 years on-air experience, with Country, Top 40, and/or Hot AC format

Experience with Adobe Audition and Audio Production

Detail oriented multitasker with strong organizational skills

Create original content and perform live broadcasts that are entertaining and engaging.

The Sports Nightly Anchor/MMJ reports to the BCSN Market Manager.

Maintaining an expert working knowledge of all production and postproduction resources including studios, cameras, lighting, audio, editing systems and graphic programs;

2 Years of experience producing, editing and feature story writing – Required

2 Years of experience working in sports/news environment – Required

Experience with Newsroom Production Systems like ENPS or iNews – Required

Working Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and codecs for web video – Preferred
