Analytics Reporting Intern Jobs in Arkansas

Experience in change management and/or working within a rapidly evolving business

5+ years' experience with report/dashboard development, data/report automation, self-service capabilities, data design and integration, data quality and governance

Knowledge of core statistical, Finance, analytical, or data mining techniques including basic data modeling and trend analysis

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management or similar discipline

Work with Sales teams, functional leads and others as needed to gather Customer’s requirements and transform data into reports.

Work with Business Intelligence and other data teams to source, develop and document data definitions, business rules and data quality requirements.

Experience utilizing SQL, SAS, Teradata or other reporting tools / languages.

Communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences both in written and verbal form.

Lead projects and junior analyst.

Initiative to solve complex problems; takes an outside in perspective to identify innovative solutions.

May lead functional teams or projects or decisions to support business needs for reporting and insights.

Work with both internal and external data.

Data visualization skills: quickly and effectively "tell the data story" and use visualization techniques to highlight salient points

Communicates with the department manager and team regarding the scope and progress of the work

Able to effectively convey information related to work product in one-on-one conversation or in a group

Able to work effectively in a team environment

Able to alter behavior and opinions in light of new information

Works with various business units to understand product and business data and the underlying processes

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience

Six to eight years of statistical and/or data analytics experience

Experience in analytics, advanced analytics/statistics, predictive modeling

Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Basic computer skills and knowledge of excel

Collection of major oncology program data

Analysis of patient outcomes and physician agreement

Currently enrolled in a degree program, ideally studying STEM, social sciences, or business analytics

Ideally, a basic understanding of programming in Python or C++, and Excel

Personal lines property insurance knowledge

1-3 years of experience with reporting and analytics

Experience working with DOMO, or other data visualization tool like PowerBI or Tableau

Experience working with Confluence & JIRA

Work with leadership to define the reporting necessary to monitor and analyze insurance program performance both operationally and financially

Control Reports to make sure all new programs, renewals, and book rolls are working as expected

Experience with project management for both small and large scale projects

You have self-starter motivation with strong organizational and time management skills – you make things happen!

Excellent data visualization skills with impeccable written and verbal communication skills

Professional experience with Tableau or other data visualization software (required)

You have experience analyzing data to pull out insights, tell a story, and drive action
