The Position: Analytical Scientist I/II

Implements project plans comprehending resource, budget, facility and regulatory requirements.

Proven experience with standard bioanalytical methods used to characterize protein biomolecules is required.

Knowledge of antibodies and immunochemical methods would facilitate the candidate’s integration into immediate work activities.

Experience with protein structure / function relationships would also be beneficial.

Designs and conducts experiments, accomplishes established milestones and summarizes data, interprets, results and draws conclusions.

Evaluates data using analytical methodologies to achieve results.

Provides analytical support for the HNO QC Lab and Plant including troubleshooting, new method development, and management of outsourced samples.

Provides leadership and support of the quality management systems at HNO including:

Develops and maintains process unit chemistry expertise, continuously building a body of technical knowledge around unit operation and processes.

Manages specification changes for assigned process units.

Experience in Quality Assurance best practices

ISO 9000 experience (desired but not mandatory)

Data entry of test orders, presort, pickup and delivery of processed specimens to the laboratory, centrifugation and aliquoting

Experience with preclinical development of lipid or polymer nanoparticles

Lead an analytical team dedicated to supporting our oRNA delivery efforts at Orna.

Use established characterization methods to analyze formulations, payloads, and component materials to help solve challenges related to RNA delivery

Develop and or apply novel characterization methods and techniques to advance material and formulation design and development
