Analytical Scientist Jobs in Pennsylvania

Technical expertise in Microscopy, Physisorption, or Thermal Analysis with demonstrated ability to apply knowledge and skills to solve related complex problems

Researches, recommends, and implements new instrumentation and small capital projects to improve operations and satisfy evolving customer requirements

Advanced knowledge of general and instrumental chemistry desirable

Knowledge of statistical concepts used to analyze data and assess measurement system performance

Supports the research and development of catalysts for emission control technology

As part of the analytical team, coordinates and performs testing for:

· Offer technical expertise with method development, method validation, method troubleshooting and sample preparation techniques.

· Offer technical leadership in the evaluation of new analytical technologies toward improving qualitative and quantitative efficiencies.

· PhD and LC/MS, GC/MS, and/or HPLC experience, coming from academia or industry.

· Experience with troubleshooting and repair of chromatographic instrumentation.

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

· Conduct analyses in chromatography and mass spectrometry including GC/MS, LC/MS, and HPLC.
