Advanced analytical acumen and experience drawing metric-based conclusions through managing extensive amounts of data.

Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with the ability to exercise discretion and show good judgment.

Monitor KPIs to help guide strategic direction and operational priorities for business leaders.

Create data stories to influence business leaders and drive change across all levels of the organization.

Strong HR functional expertise with technology, operations, implementations, systems, data, and analytics.

General understanding of data warehousing concepts such as ETL and security management

Experience working in a higher-education institution

Documents procedures, problems and resolutions in the OIT ServiceNow knowledge base catalog.

Gather report and dashboard requirements and coordinate development of deliverables related to the newly released Cognos version

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Design and execute Cognos test plans for reporting and application functionality; guide users through user-acceptance testing (UAT)

Act as a liaison between business teams and IT to identify any gaps in infrastructure based on business requirements gathered.

4+ years of experience building front end reporting or visualization solutions

4+ years of experience building data models or data preparation workflows

4+ years of experience working with SQL and database concepts

Strong interpersonal skills, both in-person and written

Experience using remainder MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Experience in translating data sets into simple dashboard summary views with drill-down capabilities

Gather requirements for new Business Intelligence solution requests from business partners and translate these requests into technical requirements.

Strong experience with BI tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, Einstein Analytics (Wave Analytics)

Proven experience developing reports, researching, analyzing and problem-solving end-user tools like BI tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, Einstein Analytics (Wave Analytics)

Familiarity with semiconductor value chain

Strong business acumen and ability to translate business requests with BI tools
