AWS D 1.2 Aluminum Certification credentials : not required but preferred

Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding

Lay out, positions, aligns, and fits components together

Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding

Sets up equipment and welds parts, using MIG welding processes

Assembles parts by bolting and riveting

Skilled in TIG welding of aluminum.

Need some knowledge of how to assemble things.

Perform housekeeping on a daily basis to maintain a safe work environment.

Welding aluminum parts of various thicknesses and alloys.

Read measuring devices such as tape measures and squares.

Use some power tools, such as grinders, sanders, drills, and pop riveters.

Welding experience: 2+ years in aluminum welding techniques, including TIG and MIG welding.

Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to understand project specifications.

Equipment Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to operate welding equipment, such as TIG and MIG welding machines, grinders, and cutting tools.

Prefer some experience and practical working knowledge of general grinding techniques with an emphasis on aluminum alloys.

Receives instructions, prints, schematics and work orders for various jobs. Plans details of working procedures, tools and material requirements.

Must potentially at some time in the future be able to pass forklift certification course.

Must possess strong problem solving and communication skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Good analytical skills, including ability to accurately count and record results

· 5 Years Program Management experience preferably in automotive or similar environment

· Strong project management and tracking skills including preparation of Gantt Charts and various tracking tools

· Primarily work from Buford Office with some flexibility for remote work when needed

· Exceptional knowledge of PPAPs, PFMEAs, 8Ds and Manufacturing Control Plans

· Strong AutoCAD and GD&T skills;

· Solidworks or other 3D modeling software experience

Will be required to always wear specified proper safety equipment.

Must be willing to learn and work in multiple locations on the assembly line when needed.

Includes $3.00 per hour premium added for nightshift

Nightshift Hours: 4pm – 2:30am, Monday – Thursday

Team Player: Works well as a member of a group

Perform specific welding duties as required for trailer assembly.

Will be required to always wear specified proper safety equipment.

Must be willing to learn and work in multiple locations on the assembly line when needed.

Must pass a welding test administered on site during your interview visit.

Monitor working environment for compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and health regulations.

Weld components in the flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions.

Fit, tack and weld component parts in position, and examine welds for adherence to specifications.
