Allocations Specialist Jobs in New York

Inventory Management: Demonstrates expertise in managing inventory levels from back of house to the floor and across store locations

Work closely with the Buying team to align inventory purchasing at the beginning of each season with allocation requirements.

Foster cross-functional partnerships with Buying, Finance, Business, and Visual Merchandising teams to enhance collaboration and decision-making.

Communication: Effective communication skills to engage and collaborate with various business partners, fostering open communication and strong working relationships.

Critical Thinking: Applies critical thinking skills to store and wholesale replenishment, including understanding automated business rules.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Allocation, with exposure to both large and small retail companies.

Fundamental understanding of supply chain operations and inventory management

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent retail experience in merchandise planning

Experience in buying, planning or allocation

Evolve and Manage productivity files at the department by category/supplier

Manage Supplier/Cluster Matrix by the department for each season

A natural problem-solver, who is also analytical and creative
