Afterschool Program Attendant Jobs

Assist in arranging recreational and educational classes, speakers, and field trips;

Plan, organize, and lead a variety of leisure activities such as arts and crafts, sports, games,

Monitor and supervise participant safety and behavior and communicate with parents/guardians.

Set up, prepare, and clean designated areas for activities and events;

Check and track supplies and materials;

Serve meals to youth on an as-needed basis;

Share in assigned cleaning responsibilities keeping program and storage area neat and organized.

Skill in organizing and executing age appropriate activities for children.

Willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with our mission.

Supervise and participate with group during all large and small group activities and free time.

Set up and organize material and equipment as assigned by Program Director and demonstrate the proper care and storage of such.

Maintain an open, friendly, professional relationship with staff, parents, and participants.

Practicing experience with program coordination/management, supervision, education, teaching, and development preferred.

Demonstrable Experience And Other Qualifications Include

Be available to other site if needed to meet ratio requirements.

Is consistently at work, on time, and ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent.

Must have experience working with children and parents.

Experience serving and working with various community populations (e.g. children, youth, adults) preferred.

Compensation based upon education and experience.

Maintain certification in First Aid and CPR for infants/children.

Assist staff as needed to ensure MASK program meets or exceeds VT licensing regulations at all times, including:

Ensure students safe arrival and departure within the afterschool program areas of use.

Assist in safe distribution of nutritious snacks to students.
