Afterschool Activity Coordinator Jobs in New York

Use age-appropriate and mission-aligned classroom management skills to run classes and support an energetic group of children

Familiarity with progressive pedagogy and classroom management strategies

Proactive approach to lesson creation and classroom management in response to the needs of children

Experience teaching your particular content area to elementary-aged children in an Afterschool or summer program setting

Lead two classes per afternoon for ages 4 - 6 and 7 - 10

Associate/Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field

Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development and implementation of structured programming.

Create recreational and academic curriculum/lesson plans that supports NYC DOE school-day curriculum

Promote positive impactful learning with program participants.

Develop and maintain partnerships with parents, school administrators and personnel.

Responsible for recruiting program participants within Family Residence and Community
