Advance Practice Register Nurse Jobs

Provide comprehensive health care for pediatric patients and their families.

Assess, screen and refer patients to specialists at other MTFs or network facilities.

Make appropriate diagnosis based on history, physical exams, and appropriate laboratory and ancillary studies.

Administer treatment of minor/acute and chronic conditions through use of a variety of therapeutic modalities.

This position is located at Camp Lejeune, NC.

As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner:

Provide comprehensive health care to patients utilizing evidenced-based clinical practice guidelines.

Assess, screen, and refer patients to specialists at other Military Treatment Facilities (MTF) or network facilities.

Obtain detailed history and physical exam.

Establish a preliminary and/or final diagnosis with appropriate treatment.

This position is located at Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Benning, GA.

As a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner:

One (1) year of Medical/Surgical experience as a Register Nurse.

Home Health experience preferred, but not required.

Excellent oral, written and reading communication skills

Associates Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor Degree preferred

Valid License as a Register Nurse in the State of New Hampshire

Provides patient education to meet the needs of the patient/family.

National certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse/Nurse Practitioner in a clinically relevant specialty.

Two to five years of experience as an advanced practice nurse required.

At least 3 -5 years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Interfaces with physicians and other specialists concerning patient care.

Interfaces with families to obtain and provide information concerning patient's medical care and progress.

MSN, successful completion of advanced practitioner training and certification as a practitioner (general or specialized) from an approved nurse practitioner program.

Minimum three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting.

Two years of nurse practitioner experience

Frequently required to use fine motor skills to handle and operate instruments/devices.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
