The applicant should have excellent costumer service, oral and written communication skills are essential.

The applicant should have a social or behavioral science degree preferred.

The applicant should provide customer service: assist with walk-ins, answer phones, schedule appointments, and conduct briefings as needed.

Brief active duty AF personnel, spouses and DOD civilians on programs available through

Uses the Air Force Automated Education Management System (AFAEMS) to maintain individual student records.

Refer students to the appropriate academic institution representative for registration and enrollment in courses or programs that pertain to their education

Conducts follow-up activities (phone calls, emails) to ensure individual student educational objectives are being met.

Excellent customer service skills and verbal communication skills

A master's degree or 15-30 semester hours in counseling, secondary education, or a related discipline

Appropriate related professional work or volunteer experience of at least one year

Experience working in education or learning related technologies

Maintain and organize education team inventories such as workshop kits, hardware, etc.

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written

Experience with business systems such as SalesForce , Oracle , Airtable , and Eloqua a plus

1- 2 years of relevant professional experience

Maintain and organize all marketing swag inventories, including placing orders, distributing, and tracking

A minimum of 2 years of adult or military education academic advising experience.

Experience in and understanding of Microsoft Outlook program, SharePoint and Microsoft Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and OneDrive)

Familiarity with Air Force terminology, office procedures, and education programs is preferred.

Keep the E&TSC current on all program and catalog changes and advise affected students promptly.

Conduct briefings for ADAF/ADSF and all other requestors (units on base, Commander’s Calls) as needed.

Provide E&TSC weekly committee updates via email up to the day of the ceremony.

Ability to research, identify, and obtain career information such as education and training requirements.

Principles, practices, and procedures of educational and career advising.

TB Test within the last 60 days (Education Code 49406, Assembly Bill 1667)

Use working knowledge of functions within the Incident Command System and National Incident Management System

Facilitates Management of Change (MOC), Risk Assessments, and Pre-Start-up Safety Reviews (PSSR), where required

Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulatory requirements

Act in the capacity of both Operator Qualification administrator and the Drug & Alcohol program point of contact

Coordinate monthly safety meetings and training requirements with respective team

Working knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, Internet, and web-based applications

Complies with all federal and state laws and regulations relating to higher education and grant administration.

Works closely with program director, data coordinator and other staff to serve participants and comply with program requirements.

Stays current in the field of Adult Education and actively continues professional growth, including obtaining necessary credentials to perform required duties.

Adapts as needed to ever-changing state and federal requirements.

Six months to two years related previous work experience.

A Bachelor's degree. Some education coursework preferred.
