Director for Strategic Admission Initiatives

Experience in design of student information system admissions modules, knowledge of Banner, Xtender, and Axiom preferred.

Supervise and manage the support staff of the department.

Prepare and distribute reports as mandated by federal, state and university requirements.

Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years, . Masters degree preferred, but experience may substitute.

Provides direct and indirect supervision to staff of 20 full-time employees.

Oversee and maintain standards and procedures for admissions processing, with an emphasis on international applications.

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or Business Management, or equivalent is required. Master's Degree is preferred.

Minimum of 5-8 years of work experience in a higher education environment or prior experience in university admissions highly desired.

Experience in higher education, particularly admissions, is preferred.

Analytical skills to review and assess statistical information and program reports, related to the graduate admissions programs is essential.

Demonstrated experience with relational databases.

Must have strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and oral communication skills.
