Answer inquiries and conduct tours with potential health center residents and/or family members.

Follow up on all inquiries; determine if an admission is appropriate for placement at the health center/

Verify insurance coverage and conducts pre-authorization checks on any admission to the health center.

Verify all forms in the move-in packet are completed and distributed to the appropriate file.

Understand census, quality mix, and bed management needs of the facility.

Utilize the Customer Relations Management system by entering leads from referral to closing.

Maintain a working knowledge of Federal and State regulations, referral processes, and reimbursement (Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid).

Manage the facility’s admissions process and provide target audience with facility-related information.

Meet the physical and sensory requirements stated below and be able to work in the described environment.

Ensure positive admissions experience by communicating admissions with appropriate stakeholders and completing room readiness.

Advanced computer skills, with working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, PDF, Microsoft TEAMS.

Verify benefits w/ our 3 rd party biller and coordinate with admissions.

Manage outcome data through tracking referral sources.

Knowledge in using behavioral healthcare EMR systems.

Identify the needs of every admission to accommodate within the facilities capabilities.

Strong and effective communication skills

LPN/LV certification or Bachelor's degree in business, social work, psychology or nursing or equivalent business experience preferred

Employee must meet minimum requirements to be eligible for benefits

High school diploma or equivalent with customer service experienced required

Hospice or medical office experience preferred
