ACCOUNT CLERK I/ ACCOUNT CLERK II

Maintain various ledgers, registers and journals according to established account classifications.

Perform accounting clerical work involved in the administration of the 1915 Public Improvement Assessments and the 1911 Bond Act Program.

Reconcile general ledger accounts with various registers.

At least 3-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical account service management at a full-service advertising agency, or closely related experience

Knowledge of VEEVA, medical education protocols, as well as demonstrated supervisory skills desirable

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

General Brand, industry, competition, and target audience knowledge

Working knowledge of internal agency processes and MLR approval processes

Work with managers to accurately assess situations and proactively make recommendations consistent with the Clients' overall marketing objectives and needs

Any combination of education and experience that has provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary will be considered Knowledge and Abilities

Researches and resolves payment issues and discrepancies Education and Experience

Minimum of two years of experience performing accounting functions

Experience in cash-handling and/or accounts payable is desirable

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask, work with constant interruptions, and meet time-sensitive deadlines

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with City staff, vendors, and the public
