Basic knowledge of financial modeling and valuation techniques

**This Early Careers full-time finance position with Mergers & Acquisitons will be available starting in June 2024**

Building financial models, including but not limited to, projecting a target’s future financial performance

Conducting financial due diligence and preliminary integration planning on potential acquisition opportunities

Security incident and event management (SIEM) tools such as Splunk, LogRhythm, Devo, etc.

Gain hands on experience helping design, implement and operate leading security tools and technologies

Grow sought after marketplace skills in areas such as cloud, DevOps, zero trust, secure access service edge (SASE)

Identity and access managed tools such as: AuthO, SailPoint, Ping, Thycotic, Beyond Trust, Centrify, etc.

Work independently as well as with large project teams delivering value to RSM clients

Assist clients with solving complex technology and security problems

Strong analytical skills and some experience using Microsoft Excel

Communication – listens well and demonstrates concise and effective written and verbal skills

Assist with month end processes including booking journal entries and reconciling key balance sheet accounts

Shadow various employees in the Accounting department and assist with testing and implementing strong internal controls

Prepare financial reporting and analysis on a month-to-month basis

Support the Accounting team on day-to-day tasks

Strong analytical skills and desire to solve complex problems

Experience in a programming language is an advantage (e.g. Python, Matlab or R)

Interest in the Financial Markets; previous knowledge is NOT required

Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Demonstrated knowledge, interest and/or familiarity with: Data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI, programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java

Apply analytical and research skills to executing an investment process
