Opportunity:

The Accounting Intern position will play a key role in the continued growth and success of the company. Working with the Accounting team, you will be primarily responsible for assisting with the monthly close, financial reporting and day-to-day accounting tasks. This is a paid opportunity.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Assist with month end processes including booking journal entries and reconciling key balance sheet accounts
• Prepare financial reporting and analysis on a month-to-month basis
• Shadow various employees in the Accounting department and assist with testing and implementing strong internal controls
• Support the Accounting team on day-to-day tasks

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will be in a bachelor or master’s degree program in Accounting with a 3.0+ grade point average
• Independent Worker – drives for individual and team results while maintaining high personal standards
• Strong analytical skills and some experience using Microsoft Excel
• Organization and attention to detail
• Communication – listens well and demonstrates concise and effective written and verbal skills
