2023 Research Engineer Intern Jobs

Certification or eligible for certification by the Florida State Department of Education to teach in the State of Florida

Participates in personal professional growth activities focused on the acquisition of new and improved skills and knowledge.

Utilizes classroom management techniques conducive to an effective classroom climate.

Manages classroom and supervises proper care of equipment used.

Responsible for timely and accurate information they maintain as part of their job responsibilities.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

Candidates must be majoring in Electrical Engineering

Positions are available spring, summer, and fall semesters

Availability for multiple work terms is preferred

A valid driver's license is required

Concurrent enrollment in a degree seeking program

MIN - $29.85 per hour / MAX - $37.77 per hour

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field, including economics, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or natural sciences

Experience in assembling, managing, manipulating, and analyzing datasets

Knowledge of economics, quantitative methods, and statistics

Experience with computational, statistical and/or GIS software programming, such as Stata, R, Matlab, ArcGIS, or Python

Commuter benefit plans (pre-tax metro and parking)

Write internal memos and collaborating on external written products.

Experience building robotic systems (hardware/software) is desirable

Programming experience in one or more of the following:

Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English.

MS or PhD student in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines

C, C++, Python, and/or functional programming languages.

Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural team environment

Knowledge of the core concepts of APIs and SDKs, at the backend and front end (full stack).

Experience with Agile development practice

Experience with ROS and/or with robots, vehicles, or other physical systems.

Experience with Docker, microservices and cloud engineering.

Collaborate with a team of world-leading experts in the fields of AI, robotics, and social science to realize advanced technology concepts.

Build brand new protypes and proofs-of-concept, working across all stages of ideation, target setting, architecture design, agile development, integration, and validation.

Experience in how to conduct a literature review for organizational knowledge management strategy

Learning and Knowledge Management activities: coordinate M&E community of practice, SharePoint site(s) restructure and organization, and other assigned tasks.
