Youtube Video Editor Jobs

Our viral exciting YouTube entertainment client has two openings for onsite Mid-Level Video Editor for a viral Youtube channel and sports personality/content/influencer/e-commerce company. The editor will be editing videos (1-2+ per week) for a viral and notable YouTube channel, might also have video editing needed for apparel brand they promote.

Onsite 5x per week in LA/Thousand Oaks area, no relocation offered. Must have strong video reel of strong youtube editing examples.

Required:

• A plus is incorporating AI editing tools
• Able to work collaboratively but also as an individual contributor
• Passion for Youtube and sports (ideally basketball!)
• Soft skills of open, positive, flexible, foster growth, sharing creative mindsets, no toxicity, strong with creative briefs, creative vision, content creator mindset, esports mindset, sports mindset, down for building something great with a team and digging in to meet timelines
• Able to understand creative direction and visuals
• 1-2 plus years of experience with Adobe Suite, with strong After Effects experience
• Able to build quick animation clips to insert into funny moments in a video
• Strong eye for editing
• Adhere to brand style guide and aesthetic of video edits and video qualify
• Knowledge of comedic timing, funny bits, how to look. at a script or dialogue and know the meat and potatoes of it
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite like Excel and Word
• Build out in-person editing themes
• 1-2 years in editing video for popular YouTube channels. Recap video experience, Reaction YouTube video experience is also a must have!
