Job Description

Are you an experienced Youtube content producer and editor, who loves to work in a self-directed manner on a small team of passionate content creators? Join ChinaTalk to lead our push onto YouTube!


You will be working directly with Jordan to set the direction, goals and budgets for our Youtube channel, and will be responsible for the success of the channel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the direction of the channel and collaborate with our team to plan strategy
  • Ideate & execute great video ideas from title and thumbnail to final edit
  • Edit raw podcast videos into Youtube greatness, experiment with short form scripted content
  • Manage our channel, including shorts, videos, comments and collabs

Skills & Experience

  • Interest in ChinaTalk’s subject-matter
  • Solid experience with YT video editing
  • Creative experience producing video content
  • Demonstrable portfolio of high quality content you’ve edited or produced
  • Thorough knowledge of YT style, especially video essays and long-form content

  • Contract position
