Summary:

Responsible for managing the credit union’s student branches at high schools across the island. Assists with development, training, and implementation of programs serving youth to develop financial health and resilience. Coordinates various events in partnership with schools and community organizations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Collaborate with credit union staff as well as school administrators, youth, and community members to manage student branches and various youth programs.

2. Create and facilitate trainings and presentations to youth, schools, and the community.

3. Manage various programs and projects: create plans, keep track of data, problem solve proactively, and communicate ideas for improvement.

4. Analyze, review, create, and synthesize reports to track progress/performance and inform decision making.

5. Perform other duties as assigned by the VP – Finance & Strategy.

7. Possesses high level of discretion and the ability to handle confidential information concerning members as well as staff

8. Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently and use initiative and judgment in accomplishing tasks with general instructions and guidance

9. Must have access to a vehicle, have a valid driver's license, a safe and responsible driving record, and current no-fault auto insurance, with at least
$100K in bodily collision per person and $25K in property damage liability

10. Position requires regular and predictable attendance with some flexible scheduling options. Some events on evenings or weekends at various times

11. Fluency in current version of Microsoft Office Suite

12. Quick learner of software - for use of Credit Union or other computer-based accounting systems

Education and Experience:

1. Previous experience working with youth, community, and managing projects

2. Experience in and understanding in positive youth development and family strengthening/engagement practices

3. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Physical Demands:

1. Able to work in an air-conditioned environment with tile and carpeted surfaces

2. Occasional standing and walking
