The Primrose School of Broadview Heights seeks an energetic, fun infant teacher who wants to truly make a difference and put their talents to use. We are hiring for a full-time infant teacher for an exceptional group of babies for a day time shift.
We are seeking candidates that have experience with the age group of newborns through 12 months of age. We are OVERSTAFFED in an industry that is seeing a 10-12% decline overall in employees! We have 5 full-time mangers to support you! We are looking for the BEST infant caretakers to work with us and our infant team. Our infant classrooms are broken down by zero - 6 months, 6 - 12 months and 12 - 18 months and the classrooms have built in dividers. Our teacher to infant ratio is two teachers for 8 babies; often we have three teachers during the core hours of the day.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Meeting the individual's needs of the children
• Participation in staff and training meetings.
• Building teamwork.
• Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
• Parent communication.
• Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level.
• Implementing prepared lesson plans.
• Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.
• Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.
• Using assessment tools to guide individual instruction and adapt to children's individual needs.
• Teachers are responsible for ensuring compliance with Primrose's industry-leading Quality Assurance standards. Primrose Teachers create a positive learning environment in their classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning!

Benefits (full-time employees)

• We have four full-time managers on site and two on site owners to support our full staff of 35 people
• In total, our PTO and Paid Holidays package gives employees the opportunity to have up to an extra 17 days off, PAID!!
• Paid Holidays are offered in addition to Paid Time Off (PTO) - A total of 6 holidays are paid to full-time employees per calendar year.
• We offer up to 80 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) per calendar year. This is equivalent to 10 paid days off per calendar year.
• Within 30 DAYS we offer Anthem Major Medical Health, Vision, Dental and additional Supplemental Benefit Insurances. Life and Disability insurances are available as well. At Primrose Broadview Heights we pay 50% of health insurance costs for employees.
