Yardi Systems Administrator

UIP Property Management (UIPPM) has an exciting opportunity for a Yardi Systems Administrator to join our growing team. This role reports directly to our Vice President of Property Management and provides critical support to the entire organization, ensuring optimal performance of various software platforms necessary to operate our business, with special emphasis on our Yardi suite of products and its integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage the company’s Yardi system to support Property Management, Accounting, and Asset Management functions. This includes acting as the Administrator/Superuser for the software, enabling/disabling users, managing role-permissions, setting up new properties, scheduling reports, etc.
  • Provide support for monthly end-of-month process and annual budgeting process in Yardi
  • Develop and provide training programs specific to the Yardi suite
  • Create and maintain admin documentation for business continuity and redundancy
  • Triage, analyze, and troubleshoot issues as they arise in the field. Facilitate a positive customer experience by liaising with Yardi for items needing their level of support
  • Stay informed about updates and industry trends as it relates to Property Management software, including Yardi and its competitors. Make strategic recommendations and adjustments accordingly
  • Ensure accurate invoicing by Yardi by reviewing invoices and contracts
  • Establish, monitor, and support integrations between Yardi and various ancillary products such as Funnel CRM, ILS’s, ServusConnect, and other similar platforms to ensure a seamless experience
  • Manage and develop custom reporting from Yardi as requested
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Establish best practices and efficient workflows

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple requests and obligations to facilitate a smooth, organized workflow; ability to determine urgency of issues
  • A working understanding of database concepts and user security. Experience with SQL querying and custom report design
  • Ability to think independently and analytically and make recommendations accordingly
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Collaborative perspective across various audiences to include on-site, corporate departments, clients, and vendors
  • Familiarity with the full suite of Yardi products to include Voyager, Rent Café, Yieldstar, Nexus/Payscan, Forecasting; as well as with associated third-party integrations
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills and must possess a strong commitment to customer service
  • Two or more years as an administrator working in a Yardi environment within the multifamily industry
