Yard Maintenance Worker Jobs

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:

The role of Yard Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the grounds and buildings maintained using necessary equipment as well as keeping machinery and other equipment detailed. This is an hourly position paying $19-$25/hr. (BOE).

WHO YOU ARE: As the ideal candidate for this role, you are someone who can:

• Operate the forklift to load and unload containers from a variety of trucks and trailers.
• Keep tires aired up on used equipment, and equipment on the line and sales lot.
• Ensure the supplies are replenished and the Yard is both organized and is free of debris and potential hazards.
• Perform service related tasks in the yard as requested.
• Provide general maintenance and overall preparation of lease fleet.
• Occasionally maintain company owned equipment (forklifts, gators, company trucks).

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is a plus.
• Experience with general labor, general repairs, or mechanical.
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment is a must.

Salary: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
