X-Ray Tech Camp Springs, Md

We are looking for a X-ray Tech to join our practice full time in Camp Springs, MD 20744, and several of our other offices in the DC area. We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist who has tact and skill in patient management, has excellent communication and organizational skills, and can effectively interact with doctors, patients, and co-workers. This position will include travel to our DC-area offices (Silver Spring, Hyattsville-occasionally, Camp Springs, Waldorf).

Job Duties

• Perform quality control tests on diagnostic equipment
• Perform a variety of diagnostic exams
• Perform diagnostic images and gather data using necessary equipment
• Assist office staff as needed in performing daily tasks such as attorney requests, patient phone calls, etc
• Inventory and order adequate supplies for radiological services
• Operate special equipment to image, assay, and monitor radioactivity
• File daily medical and X-ray reports and ensure they are complete
• Provide ongoing, daily support to physicians and chiropractors
• Process X-ray films and maintain files and accompanying logs for easy retrieval
• Assist in maintaining office in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
• Clean and maintain equipment and log accordingly

Requirements

• 1-year clinical experience preferred
• Completion of 2-year accredited radiology program
• State license in MD
• Certification/registration in radiography – ARRT

Schedule

• Travel between our offices in Silver Spring, Hyattsville-occasionally, Camp Springs, and Waldorf
• Full time

Compensation

• $40/hr
