The Retail Online team is looking for a manager position to drive readiness activities for the Apple Online Store (ASO). The Retail Readiness organization is responsible for planning and executing business strategy as well as supporting readiness for customer experience initiatives. Team also responsible for promotions & campaigns readiness across Apple.com/shop, Apple Store App and five additional digital customer platforms across 39 countries. In this role, you will manage a team that works with Commercial, Retail Marketing, Marcom, Product Operations and Store Operations teams to plan/implement readiness activities for Commercial Programs, Customer Experience Initiatives and Promotions/Campaigns. Your team will be responsible for program management from very early stage of ideation all the way to go live stage.

The ASO Ops Manager is a natural leader and facilitator; a strategic problem solver who can “connect the dots” at multiple levels; is driven, organized and detail oriented; communicates with ease at all levels; is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts; manages through relationships and influence; and displays grace under pressure.

Key Qualifications

Experience and knowledge of multiple subject areas: product online, merchandising, sales, supply chain, capacity planning and logistics.
Experience working cross-functionally across all levels of a matrixed organization.
Strong focus on problem solving and has the ability to identify and implement scalable solutions.
Sharp eye for details with a “hands-on” and continuous improvement mentality to identify inefficiencies and design improvement processes.
Excellent presentation and analytical skills; proficient in handling large data sets.
Past people management experience preferred.

Description

This is a critical role that connects multiple cross functional teams WW and in regions.
ASO Ops and Readiness team is responsible for end to end planning and execution of commercial programs.
Drive plan of record for all key work streams - including commercial, product operations, marketing and retail operations.
Effectively manage alignment and communication between stakeholders, subject matter experts, and other internal groups.
Build a deep understanding of multi-function promotions processes, across Retail, Operations and IS&T.
Project management to bring all work streams together to
Analyze risk and develop risk mitigation plans - Provide weekly readiness updates.
Support decision with robust business justification
Drive post ops and process improvement activities after every major promotion/campaign.

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $132,000 and $198,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
