Wound Care Nurse Jobs

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of wound healing
• Assess and document wound status, including size, depth, and appearance
• Educate patients and their families on proper wound care techniques
• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on patient needs
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team
• Provide comprehensive wound care management to patients with acute and chronic wounds

Experience:

• Experience using electronic medical record systems, such as PointClickCare
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Wound Care Nurse
• Experience in providing specialized care for patients with dementia or special needs
