Job Summary
Wound Vac application/changes
Compression wrap application/changes
Case management for providers
Apply total contact casts
Wound assessments including measurement, description, drainage, undermining, tunneling
Assist provider in skin substitute applications
Provide education to patients and family members
Order wound dressing supplies
Assist in wound debridement and hemostasis
Recognize signs and symptoms of infection

Work primarily at Midtown Wound Center and travel to Henderson Wound.

Education and Experience
Graduate from a nationally accredited school of professional nursing, no experience required.
BSN is preferred, or an education action plan in place.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in State of Indiana and Kentucky. Basic Life Support: Health Care Provider, within six months of hire.
