Job Title:Associate Project Manager

Role : Remote


:


Primary Responsibilities

•Contributes to the preparation and implementation of the project plans to ensure these are up to date and include operational considerations for delivery

• Assists in driving delivery of workstreams by:

o Supervising and tracking adherence to timeframes and deliverable completion

o Reporting and escalating issues to Business Lead as needed

o Working with and providing guidance to direct the work of business analysts

o Scheduling and facilitating meetings, ensuring relevant meeting materials are prepared and distributed, managing project sites,

o Tracking project expenses


•Determines own work priorities and activities in line with agreed plans to ensure the achievement of personal and team objectives

•Where appropriate, ensure that specialized project management methodologies, tools and templates are applied and used effectively on all projects

•Compliance with relevant legislation, industry codes and company policies and procedures

•Support in management of project reporting to ensure relevant parties are kept up to date

•Assist in development and measurement of project KPIs to ensure projects achieve their deliverables

•Ensure documentation of policy, process and procedures are up-to-date

•Represent or have involvement with corporate projects, committees, change management programs as required

•Adjust project plans as business priorities change so that the adjustments reflect business needs

•Support in the resolution of queries to ensure that Underwriting, Claims and Operations issues are

resolved

•Work with external providers/consultants where appropriate to build business user requirements into specifications to deliver change / enhancements required

•Assist in identifying project dependencies, working with relevant departments to ensure plans can be carried out effectively and dependencies are resolved

•Support on the presentation of project proposals to management team(s) to ensure agreement before implementation

•Help to identify risks affecting delivery of project outcomes and where necessary deploy contingencies to ensure project completion

•Assist in post implementation project reviews to determine benefit realization and achievement of objectives

•Actively coach and develop less experienced project team members (as appropriate)

•Develop own knowledge of standard procedures and processes

•Act as a point of reference to guide and advise others to ensure the sharing of knowledge and best practice

•Supports others in the team where appropriate to assist in the achievement of their objectives
