DUTIES/RESULTS:
- With approval of management, forms mutually advantageous business alliances that increase sales volume.
- Identifies and nurture diverse group of Early Adopter customers that are interested in piloting and sharing feedback on new solutions from Yokogawa
- Understands development, support, and customer operations needs to monitor product performance and proactively identify opportunities for product improvements
- Builds team discipline in critical areas of Product, Engineering & Design to support Solution Discovery and Pilot Program activities
- Facilitates regular VoC sessions with customers involved in pilot at the user and leadership levels to gather qualitative feedback to R&D, Operations, Service and Marketing.
- Facilitates and leads pilot status updates with the YCA leadership team with recommendations on path forward
- Manages and Collaborates with local sales channels for Wireless/DAQ Solutions in North America
- Ensures the achievement of business plan and growth objectives, increasing business per plan.
- Performs other duties as required, including sales forecasting.
- Uses distinctive and core competencies for guidance, analyze whether to buy, build, or partner (where applicable) to complete the solution for the market.
- Develops and Manages Engineering/Pre-Sales/Post-Sales organization that supports Proof-of-Concepts, seminars, solution demonstrations, training and application development.
- Create comprehensive business cases and commercialization plans for successful pilots that can be integrated into the larger YCA business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or combination of education and related experience.
- Familiarity with principles of product management or previous experience working directly with product and engineering teams.
- Exceptional ability to build relationships and influence colleagues inside and outside of your immediate team in a cross-functional environment.
- 7+ years of work experience in consulting, sales, product management, or customer delivery, preferably in a B2B environment
- Comfortable working with structured and unstructured data to create visually appealing and digestible presentations, dashboards, and reports.
- Strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics and adjust delivery for a variety of stakeholders (senior leaders to field operators); ability to influence and serve as a confident SME on pilot programs
- Comfortable presenting go or no-go recommendations to senior leadership
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and processes to achieve commitments/results.
- Demonstrated passion for Customer Experience
- Global organization experience preferred.
Travel: Ability to travel in North America. Expected travel up to 25-50%.
