Wildland Firefighter Jobs

Dust Busters Plus, LLC is located in Eugene, Oregon.We are hiring entry-level wildland firefighters for the 2023 fire season (no experience needed). The job will be physically and mentally demanding, but the rewards are great. You'll be part of something greater than yourself; working as a team to serve communities, help the environment, and have a job you can be proud of.

Job Requirements/Details:

- Must be able to respond to emergency fire dispatches
- Physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including working in extreme environments, hiking in remote and rugged terrain, carrying heavy equipment, and sleeping in a tent.
- Ability to work long hours, up to 16 hours a day, with limited down time
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and attitude while working as part of a team to fight fires and protect communities
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Seasonal position
- Pay is based on the amount of work during the fire season

Training Requirements:

- Complete 40 hours of online firefighter training
- Pass an arduous level pack test (WCFT)
- Attend and successfully complete an in-person field training
