Job Description

Are you experienced in welding and fabricating?

Have some experience but looking to gain more knowledge?

Our client in Chesterfield is looking to add to their small family-owned team!

Welder/Fabricator

Desired skills for metal fapicator include:

  • Metal Fapicator
  • Read and interpret blueprints, illustrations, and specifications to determine layouts, sequences of operations, or identities and relationships of parts.
  • Cut, trim, file, bend, smooth and weld parts.
  • Adjust, repair, rework, or replace parts and assemblies to eliminate malfunctions and to ensure proper operation.
  • Position and align sub-assemblies in jigs or fixtures, using measuring instruments and following blueprint lines and index points.
  • Assemble prefapicated parts to form sub-assemblies.
  • Work with precision and accuracy to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications for metal fabricator

  • Must be able to do standard operation of specific equipment used in the department.
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain standing for the majority of the workday.
  • Able to pass background screening and drug screening.

Monday - Friday 6am to 2:30pm
